Various causes of acute peripheral ischemia are:
Allergic vasculitis
Compartment syndrome
Direct compression

CRUSH INJURY
A crush injury is defined as:

Two or more tissues must be involved
The injury must be severe enough to render the viability of the tissues questionable
Severity of injury varies from minimal to irreversible with a partially viable gray zone between the two.
