DONNA M. MINORS CHT.
CERTIFIED RESPIRATORY THERAPIST
HBOT THERAPIST
Born in New York, I was always surrounded by medical field personnel. Both my mother and grandmother were nurses. My older sister also followed in their footsteps.
Originally growing up, I wanted to pursue a career in law but became more interested in the medical field when my first child was born with underdeveloped lungs and required surfactant and a significantly longer hospital stay than me. Guess that’s what brought me into the Respiratory Therapy field.
I met a really nice respiratory therapist during my son’s treatment who explained a lot of what the doctor didn’t have time to. This made me research the field more and eventually found a technical school that offered the program. |

That was 15 years ago and I wouldn’t change my career decision for anything in the world. I love being a Respiratory Therapist. The satisfaction and
gratification that comes when a patient appreciates you, far outweighs any negatives that the medical field has.Over the years I have attained advanced training in all aspects of respiratory care. I feel strongly that hyperbaric oxygen therapy offers healing from within. I am especially excited to have joined the South Florida Center for H.O.P.E and look forward to many great learning years to come.
