ARE THERE ALIASES IN YOUR FOOD?
At South Florida Center for H.O.P.E. we routinely treat patients diagnosed with Celiac Disease (CD) or Auto Immune Disorders. Included in the group of CD, most notably are: Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Lupus and Crohns Disease
A paradox exists between what causes these conditions and/or what triggers any of the symptoms.
However, many individuals affected by these immune disorders, report that consuming foods with MSG (aka - Monosodium Glutamate) causes the onset of these notable disorders.
The FDA has long reported no long lasting effects from the food additive MSG and in 1995 the FDA reaffirmed its finding noting the safety of MSG.
Instead of trying to list every product by name that contains MSG, (the list is quite extensive because its virtually found in everything from soup to nuts), below are some of the most commonly known aliases or the AKA’s of MSG.
